Purpose of the Profession:

Organization and conduct of video surveillance, search, identification, and determination of coordinates of objects, aerial photography, and aerial videography, cargo delivery using unmanned aerial systems; management of unmanned aerial system payloads; training of unmanned aerial system operators, operation, maintenance, and repair of unmanned aerial systems.

The procedure for assigning/confirming qualifications by the Qualification Center for Drone Operators 'Drone Department' consists of the following stages:

• Acceptance by the Qualification Center of the application for the assignment/confirmation of professional qualifications (hereinafter referred to as the application) and other documents submitted by the applicant regarding the competencies and/or learning outcomes acquired by them.
• An interview with the applicant regarding the acquired competencies and/or learning outcomes, and knowledge of occupational safety issues considering the specifics of the profession and/or qualification. The result of the interview is the following conclusion: passed; did not pass.
• Decision-making on the possibility of conducting the assessment procedure.
• Conducting the assessment procedure.
• Decision-making based on the results of the assignment/confirmation procedure and issuance of the corresponding document.

To undergo the assignment/confirmation procedure, the applicant submits an application to the Qualification Center, a sample of which can be downloaded via the provided link.

The following documents must be attached to the application:

• A copy of the passport (citizen's passport of Ukraine in book form or ID card, temporary certificate of a citizen of Ukraine, permanent residence permit, national passport of a foreigner and its translation into Ukrainian, certified by a notary or translation bureau, refugee certificate, certificate of a person requiring additional protection);
• A copy of the employment record book (if available or required);
• A copy of education documents (1 copy) (education documents obtained in another country must be translated into Ukrainian and recognized in Ukraine in accordance with the law);
• A letter from the employer about the referral of an employee to undergo the qualification assignment/confirmation procedure (if available or required);
• A photo (2 units) in the format (.jpeg, .png, size 3x4 cm);
• Other documents submitted at the applicant's own initiative that confirm their professional competence.

The application and documents in electronic form are submitted by the applicant with an electronic signature based on a qualified certificate of electronic signature. The applicant's identity is established through electronic identification.

Education documents obtained in another country must be translated into Ukrainian and recognized in Ukraine in accordance with the law.
